Challenges AQUALAB Solves

Packaging Optimization

What it looks like

Products lose quality before the intended shelf life. Texture may change, flavors can fade, or powders may begin to clump inside the package. Packaging that once performed well may no longer protect the product as expected. Over time, variability in storage conditions leads to inconsistent product performance.

Why it happens

Packaging controls how moisture moves between the product and its environment. If the barrier properties do not match the product’s moisture sensitivity, water can enter or leave the package during storage and distribution. Even small shifts in moisture balance can affect stability, making it difficult to maintain quality throughout shelf life.
