Products that should stay dry or firm become tacky. Pieces stick to each other, to packaging, or to processing equipment. Cleaning time increases and lines may need to stop more often.
Why it happens
Surface moisture rises above a point where materials start to soften. Humid air, incomplete drying, or trapped moisture can push products into a sticky state. Once surfaces soften, sticking follows.
